Today Avalon MIS released the Profile Update Notification Module under the GNU license. The module is an Action module for Drupal®. It sends Drupal® user & profile data in CSV format to another site via email when trigered by User events: create, update delete.

Yesterday afternoon Google released a portable version of Buzz  certainly its new social-networking which is bit like Twitter on steroids. Google Buzz is available for Google Android and the Apple iPhone.

 Buzz aggregates your Twitter updates, shared Google Reader items, Picasa, Flickr, Google Chat statuses and Buzz messages into a chronological panel. While this is an amazing tool, there are aspects of this technology that are terrifying.  The lack of privacy created by this and other similar technology is astounding.
