Arroyo Grande, California (October 11, 2009) - Laura Scroggins is pleased to announce our new name Avalon MIS. The name SLO Bake was changed because our clients and prospects were confused by the name. Most people thought we were bakers. Avalon MIS began operating September 9, 2009 and we are in the process of retiring the SLO Bake name.
Avalon MIS will be used on all future contracts with clients and vendors. Over the next month we will amend our existing contracts to reflect the new name. The name Avalon MIS is part artistic "Avalon" and part technology "management information systems".
